Our team rose to the challenge in the last week of September in support of Macmillan’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’, which saw every department within the company create a delicious array of calorific cakes for sale to raise funds of almost £500.
Carrie Sharp, our Property Director, said: “From incredible gateaux to homemade Brioche and from fairy cakes to rocky roads, our offices have been full to the brim daily as each department competed for the accolade of ‘Star Baker’ with the FI Real Estate Management team voting for Cake of The Day which was then auctioned.”
Bids over the week ranged from £25.00 up to a staggering £75.00 for the winning cake.
The Star Baker was Toni Nicholson from our Pro-Investments team with her superb strawberry cheesecake with extra rocky roads on the side.
Whether people just enjoyed making them or just enjoyed eating them, it was a great team effort and all in a very worthy cause.
