Tailored spaces, thriving businesses: The FIREM commercial property advantage

Everything we do at FIREM comes from a consideration of what people want. We understand how your business works, to provide a full strategic service to drive growth.

Finding the right space for your business to thrive is an important task for any company. Whether you want to rent industrial and logistics property, commercial property, retail property or open storage space, FIREM is ideally placed to help.

With more than 15 million sqft of property along with 7.5 sq ft of new build developments in our portfolio, we work hand-in-hand with our clients to help them get the most from their space and do everything we can to ensure success – no matter whether you are a small start-up or an established firm with a national or international footprint.

Designed to drive success

All of our properties are designed to help our clients grow and succeed on their own terms. We operate as a true business partner for you and will collaborate to find you the perfect space that contributes to you achieving your goals.

We prioritise state-of-the-art facilities and actively refurbish our properties on a regular basis, so that you have the most impressive and useful space possible. We aim to provide buildings that can be reconfigured for multiple uses and provide something more than just a building. Our portfolio properties feature every amenity you could need to set your business apart and attract both employees and customers.

We also build in locations that are business friendly. That means choosing great transport links, proximity to town and city centres, and the most promising up-and-coming business hubs.

For example, our sites at Hay Hall Business Park in Birmingham and Wrexham Industrial Estate are in central locations with access to the whole of the UK, the national port network and nearby international airports via the motorway network.

This makes them perfect for industrial and logistics businesses which need an easily accessible site which puts everywhere in reach.

Understanding what the industry needs

Our experience in property development and management spans more than four decades. In that time we have gained the knowledge and experience to not just provide what our customers need today, but to know what they will need tomorrow as the market evolves.

All FIREM staff are experts in the field, and that is a huge advantage for our customers who know they will be getting a property that is future-proof.

A great example of this principle in action can be seen with the changing office market. The rise of hybrid working and the so-called ‘flight to quality’ has changed what businesses need in some fundamental ways.

Companies now need to offer employees something that they can’t get at home, requiring offices like Lynch Wood Park which feature market leading amenities including landscaped gardens, a lake, a gymnasium, a restaurant and more to create a one-of-a-kind work environment that gives any company an edge.

Additionally, workspaces now need to incorporate state-of-the-art communications technology, business-grade internet and meeting rooms which can support virtual meetings to allow businesses to keep in touch with employees and customers who may work from home.

People come first

Everything we do at FIREM comes from a consideration of what people want. We want to understand how your business works, but also how your customers do, to provide a full strategic service that can drive your growth.

We are an active partner which invests in our own properties and is constantly evaluating the market to provide a better service. For example, occupiers of shopping centre retail units like those at the Brunel Shopping Centre in Swindon benefit from our whole-market approach.

We took notice of customers’ desire for food and beverage outlets and used that knowledge to upgrade the shopping centre’s offering, creating a cluster of F&B providers in this centre including Subway, Chopstix, Greggs, The Bap, Asaga Noodles, McDonalds and Costa.

Every week, tens of thousands of people visit this food and beverage area and, in turn, the Brunel Shopping Centre as a whole – bringing extra footfall and attention to our other retailers in the building. Actions like this set us apart and show how our people-first ethos can bear fruit for our retail partners.
