Three more established local businesses have chosen The Brunel Shopping Centre’s new food hub for their future. Tastes of Portugal, Desserts and More and Triple Two Coffee are all set to open at The Crossing this autumn.
According to James Raspin, our Head of Asset Management, this leaves only 15% of The Crossing’s floorspace available.
He adds: “We are delighted to welcome these businesses to The Crossing as it is great to see local entrepreneurs giving us such a huge vote of confidence.
“We also hope to be able to announce the names of three well-known brands soon to occupy the last three remaining units, once all the legal paperwork has been finalised. At that stage, Swindon will have an array of national and local food operators to cater for all tastes right at the heart of the town.”
Triple Two Coffee opened at The Brunel in 2016 and its growing popularity led to the opening of a second outlet within The Crossing.
Co-owner David Hodgetts said: “It’s been an amazing year for us so much so that we are expanding into The Crossing where we will have the space to serve even more good quality, handmade food and drink.”
The three latest lettings follow the opening of Eggelicious, serving freshly made wraps and healthy meals and McCTAFF’s Cake Maker and Tearoom, who have already built up a loyal following of customers.
The new escalator entrance from Canal Walk has now been completed and will open shortly which will allow pedestrian access into the shopping centre.
