We're pleased to announce that all of our available units at Rassau Industrial Estate in Blaenau Gwent have been let, following growing demand for industrial space in South Wales.
A 20-year deal with global adhesive systems specialist and laminate and insulation manufacturer GTS Flexible Materials demonstrates the popularity of the Ebbw Vale estate, which sits a 20-minute drive from the M4.
The company has also recently welcomed scaffolding, decking and noise barrier manufacturer Artemas Joseph Holdings to the estate under a 10-year lease agreement.
Rising interest
We've seen interest in the estate grow steadily since work commenced to convert the A465 Heads of the Valleys road, which runs alongside the estate, into a dual carriageway.
The £336m project began in 2014 and will see the five-mile stretch of road between Brynmawr and Gilwern widened to improve connectivity and reduce journey times.
Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council also confirmed in June that a further £3m worth of improvements will be made to the road network across the local authority area.
