A detailed planning application for the redevelopment of Winnington Business Park in Northwich has been submitted.
The proposed industrial redevelopment off Winnington Avenue will consist of a range of industrial units, totalling 120,997 sq ft, with building expected to begin in 2021.
The plans we’ve put forward would see the creation of seven blocks – A to G – which could be let as a whole or individually. All units will feature private parking and personnel access, varying slightly in size and offering:
- Block A – a total of 7 units each offering 2,841 sq ft suitable for trade counter uses
- Block B & F – 5,000 – 6,000 sq ft units with 8m eaves, and dedicated yard
- Blocks C, D, E, G start up units from 1,000 – 2,500 sq ft with 6m eaves
We obtained outline planning approval for the site in 2018 and sold part of it to Anwyl Homes to create 164 residential units, feeding into the Council’s strategic five-year housing requirement of 4,800 new dwellings by 2023.
The new site will be well connected thanks to its location off the A533, and easy access to the M56, M6 and M60. It is also close to Northwich town centre and Winnington Urban Village.
As the latest in a series of extensive investments in the region, Winnington Business Park will bolster our already flourishing industrial portfolio, which includes Wrexham and Astmoor Industrial Estates.
