We recently hosted Business Culture Hull’s latest open networking and speaker event at the refurbished Cherry Tree Court offices for over 120 of the city’s business community to join together and share best practice.
The event, designed to help and support local businesses, included keynote speeches from Hull-based Founder and CEO of Trans2Performance, Martin Johnson, and former professional boxer, Tommy Coyle.
Both drew on their experience to help inspire and galvanise businesses in Hull, with Martin sharing insight on organisational culture and human performance, and Tommy discussing his support for the local community through the Tommy Coyle Academy Boxing Club.
The networking event was hosted by Business Culture Hull, which was established in 2016 with the aim of connecting local businesses and supporting the local economy through collaboration and shared knowledge.
Hosted at our Cherry Tree Court office building, the event also gave businesses a preview of the recently refurbished Cat A office at the former HMRC building in the heart of Hull city centre.
We recently undertook a £1.7m refurbishment programme at Cherry Tree Court to elevate the city’s office market to create a vibrant business community with new open-plan offices and renovated communal areas.
Cherry Tree Court currently offers up to 22,828 sq ft of refurbished office space and includes our dedicated serviced office provider, FigFlex Offices, which occupies more than 6,000 sq ft of the ground floor.
A spokesperson from Business Culture Hull commented: “It was great to celebrate the best of Hull business at Cherry Tree Court, reflecting on a new era for local businesses. I would like to thank our sponsors, FIREM, and speakers Martin and Tommy for sharing such insightful and inspiring messages.”
Tim Knowles, founder and Managing Director of FIREM said: “Our investment at Cherry Tree Court enables us to continue to deliver high-quality office space for businesses in Hull, creating a thriving community where professionals can mix with those from other industries and work collaboratively.
