Our Top 5 moments from 2019

2019 was an exciting year for us across the whole business

An Exciting New Development for Southampton

One of our most recent successes was the approval for the development of Nelson Gate, a dated trio of offices sitting at the entrance to the city of Southampton.

A mixed-use scheme, including retail, office, residential and public space, this is a new exciting and game-changing development for the area.

Lynch Wood Park Receives Listed Status

April 2019 saw our flagship office asset, Lynch Wood Park in Peterborough gain Grade II listed status from Historic England.  Additionally, we successfully received planning permission for a multimillion-pound refurbishment which will enhance the picturesque surroundings and striking interior. Refurbishments include building upgrades and new Grade A office space.

Green Light Given On Wrexham Industrial Expansion

In July we celebrated the approval from Wrexham Council to proceed with our ambitious plans to expand our offering on Wrexham Industrial Estate with 200,000 sq ft of new-build stock to meet local demand.

We are already the largest landlord on the estate and manage 500,000 sq ft of industrial space.

Leon Quarter Residential Approval

July saw the go-ahead given on Croydon’s newest residential development, Leon Quarter. Following on from the success of Leon House the development will include three new-build residential towers together with substantial public realm, shops, restaurants and green space.

Toys R Us Sales and Lettings

As part of our Toys R Us managed portfolio, we were pleased to announce a raft of sales and lettings back in summer 2019. Totalling £26 million, we agreed nine lettings and five sales across the Doncaster, Swindon, Coventry, Oxford and Peterborough sites to a mix of retailers including Smyths Toys, Lidl and The Range plus some local authorities.
