Wrexham Industrial Park has reached full capacity following the letting of the five remaining units, totalling 22,946 sq ft.
We are now undertaking a full and detailed asset management role to unlock additional development opportunities for 42-acres of land to accommodate the continuing demand for space, from the wider market as well as assisting existing occupiers such as Ipsen Biopharm, Meridian Foods and Tritech.
A modernisation strategy for the entire estate is also planned where major occupiers include JCB, Kelloggs, Cott Beverages and Village Bakery.
The latest lettings, completed in October, leased space to CFS, Silverlining Furniture Group, UK Farm Vets and Day’s Rental.
Day’s Rental is now one of the largest independent vehicle hire operations in the UK and a main supplier to local authorities and other Welsh public sector clients.
According to MD Mike McCarry, the choice of Wrexham Industrial Park offered a central North Wales location to the company to service their customers.
He said: “Thanks to FI Real Estate Management (FIREM), the process of locating and opening a new depot was extremely easy.
“FIREM’s Matthew Pickles helped us to achieve this in less than four weeks from our first telephone call to the keys handover to our unit.”
CFS Business Development Director Stewart Roberts commented: “We decided to open our second office on Wrexham Industrial Park and worked with FIREM to find the right unit with the room for growth over the coming years.”
Our own Matthew Pickles added: “It is great to see this major asset fully tenanted and we know that our strong communication with our tenants has been key to this and also our ability to support their growth on this major site.”
