Details have been published regarding the extensive refurbishment project that it is undertaking at Goliath – the UK’s largest available industrial unit.
The £7m modernisation and enhancement programme, being carried out by leading construction company Wates will include the replacement of all the roof lights, installation of new LED light fittings, testing and commissioning of the loading doors, heating and sprinkler systems, new grade A office space, new entrance pod, polished floor slab and repaint of column supports.
Key specifications of Goliath include a 16.2m high bay warehouse, loading on three elevations, 210 car parking spaces, 119 dock loading doors, 102 trailer spaces, all of which is fully secured within the site.
There is also an opportunity to increase the warehouse capacity by 120,000 sq ft, taking the total industrial space to c800,000 sq ft, providing a unique opportunity for businesses with ambitious growth plans or those seeking a first-class logistics facility.
