Swindon’s Cheney Manor Industrial Estate is now fully let for the first time in five years with the latest deal on the estate.
The site has been at 90% occupancy, however, the recent national uptake in industrial property has shown the Lynton Road site to be a popular destination for trade and industrial businesses alike.
Cheney Manor proved to be the perfect fit for Adam Asher Limited, which will be running two parallel businesses involving a franchise purchased from Practical Car and Van Rental, as well as a branch of ThreeSixty Alloys from Reading who specialise in alloy wheel refurbishment. The deal for Unit 5 on the 1.9-acre site was agreed on a 10-year lease. From enquiry to completion, the deal took less than six weeks to finalise.
Adam Ashar will be in good company in its new home, with existing tenants including car repair specialists Automax, nationwide trade suppliers Tool Station and equipment hire company Speedy Hire.
Cheney Manor comprises eight industrial units, with a total square footage of 40,807. Each unit consists of a warehouse or production area, with an additional ancillary space used for offices or for trade sales.
Ideally located off the M4, Cheney Manor is less than a five minute drive away from Swindon Train Station and the town centre. With the A419 also a short drive away, the site is a perfect choice for businesses requiring easy access to the rest of the UK.
Our extensive UK industrial portfolio currently totals four million sq ft with a further circa two million sq ft of new build in the pipeline. Available spaces start from 500 sq ft to more imposing units of 80,000 sq ft.
