The sale of another five former Toys ‘R’ Us freehold properties has been agreed to the value of £26million, in addition to nine agreed lettings.
Sites including Doncaster, Swindon, Coventry, Oxford and Peterborough, representing around 199,000 sq ft in total, have been sold to a mix of retailers and local authorities.
A further nine leases have been committed to across the portfolio with the likes of Lidl, Smyths Toys, The Range and B&M Bargains taking space at locations including Old Kent Road London, Solihull, Leeds, Glasgow, Nottingham, Sheffield and Poole.
The annual rents total in excess of £2.8 million across 200,000 sq ft of retail space. Joint marketing agents are Cushman & Wakefield and Morgan Williams.
